With a raw and urban design, Woods Augusthus offers open functions that ensure diverse uses, with a focus on flexibility and multifunctionality of the different areas. Its flexible approach means that each floor can be fitted with everything from independent one-person offices to large leases covering greater areas. Each floor has a small, centrally located hub where you can grab a coffee, print something out or hold smaller informal meetings. In this way, the indoor areas allow users to create different work spaces that can be adapted to specific needs.

The project reflects a holistic solution, which aims at meeting several sustainable parameters with its design and functionality. The construction project was built first and foremost with a focus on recycled and waste materials; discarded bricks and wood were used to reduce the building’s resource consumption and environmental impact.

The building features a sedum roof, which ensures biodiversity, and creates a green corridor for plant and animal life. The rooftop garden also functions as a recreational break room where it’s possible to take a quick walk with a view of the city.

In other words, the building takes into account the health, well-being and job satisfaction of its users. Well-being and work-life balance are built into the physical surroundings and contribute to stimulating and motivating its users as well as creating spaces for social contact. The fluid transitions between the office building’s indoor and outdoor living spaces take well-being into account in both the indoor climate and outdoor spaces.
