With the opening of an architectural office in Iceland, Arkitema expects to tap into an attractive market with many exciting projects in the coming years. Hallgrímur Thor Sigurdsson will head the office, which will initially be located at COWI's offices in Reykjavik.
To lead the office, Hallgrímur Thor Sigurdsson has been appointed Design Director, and it is expected that he will soon be joined by other architects. Arkitema already has a number of specific projects in its order book and plans to participate in several competitions and tenders.
