Change of management in Arkitema

In the spring of 2008 the Board of Directors of Arkitema decided to strengthen our Chinese activities by appointing Managing Director Per Feldthaus to the the position of CEO of Arkitema China. The plan was that Per Feldthaus simultaneously should continue as Managing Director for the entire Arkitema organization. Per Feldthaus has moved to Beijing with his family, and Arkitema China is engaged in a number of interesting activities, which bode well for the future.

However, the extent and speed of the downturn in the Danish construction industry has made it necessary to strengthen the management of Arkitema in Denmark.

Because our faith in the future of our Chinese market is unabated the Board wants Per Feldthaus to continue his important work as CEO of Arkitema China. We have therefore decided to appoint our present Commercial Director Peter Berg to the position of Managing Director of Arkitema.

Despite the expanding crisis in the construction industry Arkitema has a sound client base and expects an improved performance in 2008 compared with 2007.
