Xframe is an entirely new window system in which the basic structure consists of a composite material with very high insulating properties. The system has been developed in response to thorough analyses of the market and of client and user needs. Arkitema PreFab was the linchpin for the analyses, which formed the basis for the final design.
The result is a window system with the lowest u-value on the market, i.e. the best-insulated window system available, with a slender and elegant design and a wealth of possible accessories integrated into the system. Xframe has a uniform appearance in both its outward-opening and inward-opening versions. The system has an associated range of accessories which includes sun screening, flashing, window base pieces, etc.
The aluminium surfaces can be "clicked" onto the windows when the building construction is complete, and may be replaced during the lifetime of the window if a different colour or surface is desired. As a result, it is possible to customise your windows and give them a personal expression, so that the children's rooms can have one colour, the living-room another, and the bedroom a third.
