Boel Living is an entirely new building concept that consists of prefabricated housing. Arkitema Prefab has designed three different prefabricated houses for Boel Living A/S: Cityhouse, Townhouse and Flathouse. All of the houses are designed in a simple, modernist style, with large windows, straight lines and a focus on good natural light and spatial experiences. Each house has a large central atrium where the family can gather. The outdoor areas also play an important role, and all of the houses consequently have large terraces. The housing types are primarily intended for dense/low-rise developments, but can also be built as detached houses.
It is thus now possible to have a house produced at a factory and transported in room-sized finished modules straight to the building site. In just one week, the modules can be assembled and ready for occupation. By using industrial production methods, we can increase efficiency without compromising on architecture, functionality or price.
Arkitema Prefab has co-operated with Boel Living to develop the business concept, identify markets and customers, create the design and, finally, implement production at the factory.
Right now, Arkitema Prefab is refining the housing concept to create new residence types and new prefabricated low-energy homes.
