People in architecture
Arkitema has received a new graphic profile. A profile which Arkitema's staff have quite literally helped to shape – in the most 'hands-on' way imaginable. Plasticine figures galore!
The figures have various purposes. In a very concrete sense, they are there to express the human part of our slogan: "People in Architecture".
By being unique, and clearly hand-made, we indicate our starting-point – both as people and as designers. Fundamentally, we work on a human scale. The figures are also meant to express our respect for the individual and for the non-hierarchical aspects of our culture and our approach to the architecture. They are intended to express our attitude of being on the same level as our surroundings – both our customers and our staff – and our wish to engage in dialogue with the surrounding world.
Finally, the figures are meant to express the playful, informal and humorous side of our creations.
The figures are meant to remind people that Arkitema is about creating spaces for people – using our hands and our heads, and preferably a little humour.
