The school's interior structure and organisation acquires its 'logic' from the urban space, which has clear and easily decodable spatial hierarchies with public zones and more private areas.
The four class home areas of which the introductory unit is composed thus comprise four independent and separate neighbourhoods, which the pupils experience as a secure and comprehensible environment. In each of these neighbourhoods, the local common room provides a linchpin in the daily routine.
The common functions are located at the centre of the building, in a comprehensible universe which naturally comprises the school's dynamic and diverse meeting-place.
There are both physical and visual links between the various class bases and the central universe of the development.
The vision is for both the building and the exterior surroundings to promote the children's ability to learn and co-operate: the place where you get your "wings".
