Lærkeklubben/The Lark Club, previously housed at Lærke School, now enjoys a new independent clubhouse in a good location at Stenløse Sports Complex, with a fantastic view across the fields.
The building is used by children aged 10-14 in the daytime, while the 14-18-year-olds move in in the evening. The club's children's area enjoys the wide view from the clubhouse's east-facing glass facades, while the ancillary rooms and offices are housed in the more closed western facade. The clubhouse has the appearance of a light building covered in larch wood - a lightness which is emphasised by the almost floating roof. The construction process utilised a high degree of user consultation.
