The new stadium will be placed on a green plateau, surrounded by the tree-tops of Nørreskov woods. Between the tree-trunks, you can catch a glimpse of the fjord far below.
Inside the stadium, the tree-tops provide a beautiful frame, and through the tribune's semi-transparent screen walls, the trees themselves can be seen as silhouettes. The experience of nature is thus incorporated as an extra dimension when you visit Vejle Stadium.
The experience of the stadium must be intense: an intensity primarily achieved via the screen wall, which forms a coherent belt around the structure, broken only at the forecourts and the entrance to the VIP building. The screen's coherent structure avoid dead corners where the sound and atmosphere can slip out. The screen will be made of perforated corrugated panels in a rhythmic vertical pattern, reminiscent of bar codes or the trees in a forest.
In the VIP building, guests will be accommodated in a triple-storey tall foyer oriented towards the forecourt. The administration area is situated on the ground floor to the north, while the changing facilities for the gym area are located towards the pitch. The gym facilities are on two levels in the building's eastern part. The basement contains player facilities, with direct access to the pitch via the players' tunnel. The top floor affords a full view of the pitch from the VIP lounge, control room, press room and TV platform.
