The COSL green park is structured to give form, identity, and meaning to the site and pliant enough to adapt to changing ecologies, demands and uses.
Visually the COSL parks image is an open green space, replete with forests, allees, bosques, meadows, lawns, islands of greenery, lakes, streams, bridges, paths, trails, promenades and innumerable types of social space, some small and intimate, others grand and monumental delightfully engaging outdoor spaces for a broad range of people and businesses.
The three projects for COSL industrial green park aims to suggest a high awareness on environmental issues. We suggest a large range of approaches.
We approach the subject with a wide definition of the issue of sustainability. Socially and environmentally we believe a project in this scale needs to address these issues through all stages; Development, Implementation, Operations, and Future flexibility.
The project addresses the issue in numerous ways. Generally we exploit the sites natural resources. In this way we need less new energy consuming artificial resources. We suggest building dense lowering the energy use, building on the edge giving building maximum exploration of the wind to cooling andpreserving the natural plateau from building keeping the natural landscape for recreational purposes.
