The mailbox has a vertical opening, enabling newspapers, etc., to be placed in the mailbox without having to be folded. The mailbox closes automatically after use to ensure that it cannot accidentally remain open, thereby preventing rainwater seepage.
The mailbox can be supplied in versions for both building-in and adding on to existing buildings, as well as a free-standing model.
